Austro-Iranian bass player Navid Djawadi was born in Klosterneuburg/Austria and studied double bass at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He graduated in the year 2016 after his studies with Gina Schwarz, Albert Kreuzer and Juan-Garcia Herreros and has since then played his part in the Viennese Jazz and World-Music scene performing and collaborating with artist such as the Grammy- awarded „The Snow Owl“, Georg Luksch, Lorenzo Ferrero and Michael Bublè and furthermore Heinz v. Hermann, Andy Middleton, Alp Bora, Alexander & Konstantin Wladigeroff, Stoyan Yankoulov, Heilbutt & Rosen, Caspar Richter, Marika Lichter and others.
Since 2014 Navid Djawadi has been working as freelance musician based in Vienna.
