Harald Tanschek born in Graz (A), graduated from the Jazz University in
Graz. After winning a Berklee Fullscholarship Award in Germany, he moved
1997 to Boston (USA) and studied at the Berklee College of Music and
continued, after Graduation, living there as an independent Freelance Musician
until 2003. Currently living in Vienna (A), he is involved into projects from US
America, Europe and South and Latinamerica like Hal Crook, Chico Freeman,
Bob Brookmeyer, George Garcone, Phil Woods, Mark Murphy, Sheila
Jordan, Clark Terry, Lee Konitz, Joachim Mencel, Karimski Club, Doug
Johnson Trio, Grace Kelly, Endrina Rosales Group, Alegre Correa, Jose
Ritmo y Cacao, Martin Lubenov Orkestar, Mario Vavti’s RTS, Richard
Oesterreicher, Geri Schuller, Kris Jefferson, Gisele Jackson and numerous
other on-going music related ventures.
